Southern Air will be having a Hiring Event here at the Virginia Works - Lynchburg Center 3125 Odd Fellows Road on Thursday, August 21st from 10AM-2PM. Recruiting for: • Sheet Metal Mechanics – JO#3989484 - Must have 1-3 years of experience in sheet-metal preforming in commercial installation and/or equivalent combination of vocational training and experience. $18-26hr DOE. • Electricians – JO#3989483 - 1+ years of experience in the electrical field in a residential, commercial, or industrial environment; or equivalent combination of vocational training and experience. $16-37hr DOE. • Plumbers – JO#3989846 - Must have 1-3 years of experience as a plumbing apprentice performing in commercial or residential installation and or an equivalent combination of vocational training and experience. $16-37hr DOE. (Journeyman or Master Plumbers License preferred.) • Pipe Fitters / Pipe Welders – JO#3989844 - Five years of experience in the piping field. Must be experienced with carbon steel piping, stainless steel piping, stainless steel tubing, PVC, Copper, and weld pipe. Must have essential hand tools expected for trade. $18-26hr DOE.
