Hampton Roads Transit October 25th Career Fair in Norfolk

We will have our “Sweet Treats & New Careers!” career fair this October. Additionally, we have increased the starting pay for our in-demand positions! On Friday, October 25th, we will be hosting a job fair at 509 East 18th St., Bldg 4., in Norfolk (Boardroom 234). The time will be from 10am – 2pm, and we will be conducting onsite job interviews for: Bus Operator Trainees $21.00/hr. Mechanics $26.10/hr. Part-Time* Bus Operator Trainees $21.00/hr. *Must have a CDL with Passenger and Airbrakes endorsement *NEW* Facilities Maintenance Mechanic $38,000-$40,000 ($3,000 service bonus) *NEW* Facilities Maintenance Technician $44,000 ($3,000 service bonus) Applicants are encouraged to save time by applying ahead of time; however, computers will be available.
