Dr. Jason M. Williams Sr.

Dr. Jason M. Williams Sr. currently works at the Virginia Community College System (VCCS) as the Apprenticeship and Work-Based Learning Coordinator, which he has held for over 5 years. Simultaneously, he is the Project Director of the SCHEV/V-TOP Impact Grant in creating the VCCS’ Work-Based Learning Tracking System (WTS). Before the VCCS, Dr. Williams served as an Assistant Superintendent of Curriculum and Instruction for Hampton City Schools. As an author, speaker, presenter, writer, and educational researcher, he is well-traveled and encourages students and adults to maximize their pathway through educational tools and resources. Originally from Cleveland, Ohio, now residing in Virginia, Dr. Williams has been married for 24 years with 2 college-attending children. He enjoys cooking (BBQ), playing pool, and dancing.
