MCIS, Inc. is a company that provides construction installation services for outfitting for flooring, ceiling, and more in data centers. They are not hiring for IT roles.

Steps to be scheduled for an interview:

  1. You must visit the MCIS website to apply for their positions here – https://mcis.bamboohr.com/careers.
  2. MCIS may reach out to you to schedule a virtual interview before the 18th or an in-person interview for the 18th or 19th.
  3. Once you are interviewed, if you qualify, MCIS may extend a same-day job offer for their construction installer, safety spotter, and foreman roles. Out of our last event with MCIS, 8 of the 9 attendees received job offers in positions ranging from field installer to project manager, and 6 of these attendees followed through with onboarding to be hired. Interested applicants are also encouraged to apply for their other, leadership roles, and will be scheduled for interviews for these roles, though MCIS cannot extend same-day offers for these roles.

People who do not apply for positions before the hiring event and who do not get an interview scheduled in advanced will not have priority to be interviewed over people who apply and get an interview scheduled. We will do our best to accommodate everyone.

All Northern Virginia positions are listed under the Ashburn location on their website, but they are hiring for roles for Manassas and Ashburn and even for their Richmond site for those who are willing to work in Richmond. Those interested in working at their Manassas or Ashburn project sites should apply for the roles listed in Ashburn.

MCIS is hiring for the following roles:

  • Assistant Project Manager
  • Superintendent
  • Foreman
  • Safety specialist
  • Installer (entry-level)
  • Safety spotter (entry-level)
  • Estimator
  • Architectural Drafter (Hybrid)

Once projects are completed in Northern Virginia, employees will be expected to travel to projects in other states up to 4 – 6 months at a time, if required. MCIS covers the cost of lodging and provides a per diem for employees while they are traveling.
