One City Celebration Community Empowerment Job Fair

The event will take place on Thursday, Dec 11th, from 10AM to 2PM, at the Denbigh Community Center in Newport News. Over 60 businesses will be participating and showcasing 100’s of employment opportunities. The job fair is a free event and is open to the general public. The job fair itself is one of many events taking place during the week making it a major part of an overall community empowerment celebration. Other activities include a food drive, toy giveaway for kids, and much more….

This is an annual event conducted during the second week of December each year. Event normally averages over 60 participating businesses and is open to all job seekers. The event is hosted by Ms. Sharon Scott in partnership with the City of Newport News, PETA, Virginia Works, and the Full Circle Foundation.
